Early summer weddings in Northeast Ohio have a special kind of magic — and Casey and Jeff’s wedding day in Canton, Ohio was the perfect example. Warm sunshine, historic architecture, heartfelt moments, and a celebration filled with joy made this day one I won’t soon forget.

Casey and Jeff exchanged vows at the beautiful Old Stone Chapel in downtown Canton, a timeless and intimate ceremony location rich with character. The warmth of the early summer day added to the emotional atmosphere as family and friends gathered to witness their “I do’s.” The chapel’s stone walls and classic details provided a stunning backdrop for a ceremony filled with love, laughter, and meaningful moments. As an Ohio wedding photographer, I love photographing ceremonies in here — dramatic light, historic charm, and surrounding downtown locations make it ideal for both intimate weddings and larger celebrations.

After the ceremony, the bridal party traveled a short distance to McKinley National Memorial for portraits. This iconic Canton landmark is one of my favorite locations for wedding photography in Northeast Ohio. Its grand steps, sweeping views, and lush green surroundings create a relaxed yet elegant setting for romantic portraits.

Despite the very warm day, Casey and Jeff were all smiles. We kept things easy and natural, allowing their connection to shine through while capturing timeless images they’ll treasure for years to come.

The celebration continued at the DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown Canton, where Casey and Jeff hosted an elegant and lively reception. From heartfelt toasts to a packed dance floor, the evening was filled with unforgettable moments. One of the highlights of the night was a special Irish dance, performed by Casey and many of her friends—an energetic and meaningful tribute that brought the room to life and had guests cheering along. The incredible team at DoubleTree ensured evening ran smoothly, creating a welcoming and polished experience for the couple and their guests. Their professionalism and attention to detail truly elevated the event.

A huge shoutout goes to Tricia Dever of Always Eventful Planning, whose thoughtful coordination and calm presence helped bring Casey and Jeff’s vision to life. From start to finish, Tricia, her assistant and the DoubleTree staff worked seamlessly together to create an amazing day for the newlyweds and their loved ones. When dedicated vendors collaborate, it makes all the difference — and this day was a perfect example of that effort.

Casey and Jeff’s wedding was a beautiful reminder of why I love photographing weddings in Canton, Ohio and throughout Northeast Ohio. From historic chapels to iconic landmarks and elegant downtown receptions, this area offers so many incredible settings for couples planning their wedding day. Congratulations again, Casey and Jeff—thank you for trusting me to document such a joyful and meaningful day.
