Christina and Josh's wedding day at Gervasi Vineyard was a beautiful celebration filled with heartfelt moments, joyful laughter, and a reminder that a little rain can't overshadow a great love story.
The day began beneath overcast spring skies with a gentle breeze moving through the picturesque grounds of Gervasi Vineyard in Canton, Ohio. Christina and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready at the elegant Sorrento Villa, one of the property's beautiful accommodations. Surrounded by her closest friends, the excitement and anticipation of the day filled the villa.
Across the vineyard, Josh and his son prepared for the wedding at The Casa, enjoying a relaxed morning together before the festivities began. One of the unique advantages of hosting a wedding at Gervasi Vineyard is the ability for couples and their families to stay, prepare, celebrate, and relax all within the beautiful Tuscan-inspired setting.
As the afternoon approached, weather remained uncertain, but the rain graciously stayed away long enough for some of the day's most meaningful moments. Christina shared a fun first look with her father, followed by a touching first look with Josh. These quiet moments gave the couple an opportunity to slow down, take in the significance of the day, and enjoy time together before the ceremony.
The warm architecture, stone pathways, manicured grounds, and vineyard-inspired atmosphere of Gervasi Vineyard provided the perfect backdrop for family photographs and relaxed portraits. Despite the threatening skies, we were able to explore the property and capture timeless images that reflected both the beauty of the venue and the excitement of the day.
Eventually, spring showers arrived and forced a change of plans, moving the ceremony indoors. Fortunately, one of the many strengths of Gervasi Vineyard as a wedding venue is its ability to seamlessly adapt when Ohio weather has other ideas. Surrounded by family and friends, Christina and Josh exchanged personal vows in an intimate indoor ceremony filled with emotion, laughter, and more than a few happy tears.
Once they were officially married, guests gathered for a cocktail hour before enjoying a delicious dinner and an evening of celebration. Heartfelt toasts honored the newlyweds, and the dance floor quickly filled with family and friends eager to celebrate. From the first dance to the final songs of the evening, the energy never slowed.
While the rain may have altered the location of the ceremony, it never diminished the joy of the day. Christina and Josh embraced every moment, focusing on what mattered most — celebrating their commitment surrounded by people they love.
