FAQ

Who will photograph my wedding?
I am always the primary photographer. Kevin, my talented associate photographer, may be added to any wedding.

What is your approach to wedding photography?
I take a “photojournalistic” approach throughout most of the day, provide “traditional” photography during requested formals and an “artistic” style during any time reserved for fun and creative images.

Can you tell me more about wedding photojournalism?
Wedding photojournalism breaks the mold of “posed photography” by capturing genuine moments in real time – not how they are directed. I am constantly documenting decisive moments as they happen. The resulting images preserve your story for a lifetime.

How are your wedding photography services priced?
I offer two pricing options: “A La Carte” and “Packages.” A La Carte allows you to purchase wedding coverage up-front and products (prints, albums, gallery wraps, etc.) after the wedding. “Packages” feature popular coverage options and albums while offering a graduated discount.

How many pictures will you take at our wedding?
I do not restrict the number of images captured. I focus on documenting special moments – not limiting exposures. Wedding proof amounts range from 400 to 800-plus images depending on the scope of your wedding and coverage time reserved.

What type of equipment do you use?
I use leading-edge pro DSLR camera bodies, lenses and flash units (with complete backup equipment) that provide amazing image quality and ultimate flexibility for demanding wedding photography.

When will our online gallery be released and high-resolution image files be ready?
Images will be available for review online and high-resolution files (on disc or jump drive) will be delivered approximately four weeks after your wedding.

How do we reserve your services?
It is best to contact me when you have confirmed your wedding date. Popular dates often book well in advance. A signed contract and retainer of $850 to $1,000 (depending on selected coverage options) are required to secure services. The remaining balance of your coverage fee is due two weeks before the wedding day.

When can we order prints and albums?
Prints and albums may be ordered at any time. Payment is due when products are ordered.
