Where are you located and do you travel?
I am based in Hudson, Ohio and photograph weddings in Akron, Canton, Cleveland, Columbus, Toledo, Pittsburgh and beyond. Weddings photographed outside of Northeast Ohio are subject to travel fees.
How long have you been a professional photographer?
I’ve been a full-time professional photographer since 2002. During my career, I’ve photographed numerous portrait sessions, covered a variety of special events and documented 500-plus weddings.
What is your approach to wedding photography?
I provide “photojournalistic” coverage throughout most the day, “traditional” photography during requested formals and “natural” portraits during time reserved for relaxed creative images.
Are you always the lead photographer when documenting a wedding?
Yes, I am always the lead photographer. An experienced associate photographer may be added to your wedding coverage.
How are your wedding photography services priced?
I offer straight-forward A la Carte pricing. Basic wedding coverage begins at $2,500. Please use the contact form to request complete pricing information.
What type of equipment do you use?
I use professional-level DSLR camera bodies, lenses and flash units (with complete backup equipment) that provide excellent image quality and ultimate flexibility for demanding wedding photography.
How many pictures will you take at our wedding?
I do not restrict or inflate the number of photos captured. I focus on capturing a meaningful collection of images. Proof sets range from 500 to 600-plus original images depending on the scope of your wedding and reserved coverage time.
Do clients get to choose which images are delivered in color vs. black-and-white?
Some images look best in color while others look best in black-and-white. While I choose how they are presented in my portfolio and on the blog, clients get color and black-and-white versions of each image delivered in their collection.
When will our online wedding gallery be released and high-resolution image files be ready?
Wedding images will be available for review online and high-resolution files will be mailed to you approximately four to five weeks after your wedding.
How do we reserve your services?
It is best to contact me when you have confirmed your wedding date. Popular dates often book well in advance. A signed contract and retainer of $850 are required to secure services. The remaining balance of your coverage fee is due two weeks before the wedding day.
When can we order prints and albums?
Prints and albums may be ordered at any time. Payment is due when products are ordered.
